DoucheFLUX’s healthcare offer consists of several components :
- 1. Free nursing and medical care (Nurse’s station / DentalFLUX / Basic care / Optician / Physiotherapy)
- 2. Community health (Let’s Talk About Diabetes / Let’s Talk About STIs and HIV)
Nurse
The nurse provides basic medical care and refers people to a doctor when necessary. She often works in tandem with the social worker, who assists with the administrative side of accessing healthcare.
In partnership with organisations and supportive healthcare professionals, DoucheFLUX is also committed to health promotion and advocacy aimed at integrating vulnerable people into the healthcare system.

Optician
Good vision is essential for a person’s well-being, but it is unfortunately not accessible to everyone.
DoucheFLUX collaborates once a month with an optician who offers her services free of charge to those most in need.
The service includes an eye test and, if necessary, free second-hand frames fitted with new basic lenses (hardened white unifocal plastic lenses) tailored to the test results.
Register at reception
- Please note : if you have an eye health problem that glasses cannot solve, the optician will advise you to see an ophthalmologist.
. - For optimal service, you must be able to speak French, Dutch or English. Otherwise, please come with someone who can translate for you.
