Invitation to a listening session of “Corps sales // Ville sèche” at DoucheFLUX

This Tuesday 25 October at 6.30 pm, we invite you to a (free) listening session of Corps Sales // Ville sèche, an audio documentary in 3 episodes, at DoucheFLUX (84 rue des Vétérinaires, 1070 Anderlecht).

Why at DoucheFLUX? Because our day centre is one of the few places where people can wash today in Brussels, and an episode of the documentary was recorded there.

After the listening session, a moment of exchange is planned with the team and various actors from the field to extend the reflection on access to a shower for people who are out of/without/unwell at home. By crossing the views and experiences of the associative, academic, public and militant worlds, we will question the Brussels landscape and the relationships that need to be forged to guarantee access to water for all, by drawing inspiration from informal practices and by questioning the involvement of the municipalities in what we believe to be a public service.

To attend, please confirm your presence by email to serena.alba@doucheflux.be

The pitch:
Water and bodies. Ordinary gestures, a disappearance too. And then sometimes the lack. From the intimate to the political, “Dirty Bodies // Dry City” examines the issues that accompany one of our most intimate practices and tells, in 3 episodes, how to wash in the city from yesterday to today.
